Third grade is starting to draw forms inspired by Minecraft in art! Way to go third grade!
Mrs. Bohn’s class read the book One Word for Kids on Monday where they read about how we can pick one word to live out this year and decided things we wanted to see more and less of in their classroom. Then students made bracelets and tags for their desk to encourage them to live out their word for the rest of the year. Some of the words include: persevere, confident, appreciative, focus, creative, and kind!
Last week, the Jackson R-2 School District Leadership team conducted professional development training for administrators. The team training also featured guest speakers who gave advice and provided mentorship for the new school year. Thanks to Mrs. Christine Warren, Coach Steve Burk, Pastor Chris Vaught, and Coach Steve Wachter for the wonderful wisdom and support!

The Jackson chapter of FFA’s top 30 participants enjoyed an agritourism visit last week to The Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, KY, then enjoyed the botanical garden at the Cincinnati Zoo. Thank you to all of our community sponsors!
